Indoor Summer Camp 2022

Welcome to the Jookender Summer Program. We will run our programs indoor, 5 business days a week, 8 weeks. You may choose to sign up your child weekly or daily. Maximum 20 children per day can be admitted. Age 5-12 y.o. (approx. K-6 grade). Within the program, we will be dividing children for 2-3 groups, based on their age and preferences. The program is from 9 am until 6 pm, Monday through Friday, except for July 4th (no program).
Please, note: we are NOT a nut-free program. We’re also an animals-friendly program. We do not have an RN onboard – will not be able to dispense any medicine. At the time of registration, you’ll be asked to list all allergies and special needs. This is a required field and includes all allergies, not just those associated with the food.

- 9:00 am - Drop Off, free play with Teens
- 9:20 am - 10:20 am – Science Stations with Teens
- 10:20 am - 10:40 am – Short Break/snack
- 10:40 am - 11:40 am – Animal Adventures
- 11:40 am – 12:00 am – Short Break, wash your hands
- 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm – Lunch (Bring your own)
- 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm - Art Class
- 1:30 pm – 1: 40 pm – Short break
- 1:50 pm – 2:50 pm – Fun Relay Races
- 2:50 pm – 3:00 pm – Short Break
- 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Theater Workshop
- 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Russian, Hebrew, or Jewish Stories
- 5:00 pm - 5:20 pm - snack
- 5:20 pm - 6:00 pm - free play w/Teens
Pack a reusable bottle of water, lunch and 2 snacks, and make sure your food isn’t perishable. If know you would need to drop off or pick up your child outside of the time perimeter, prepay for these times. You would have to do it in advance, in time of the registration to the program, otherwise, there might be no staff available for your child at that day.
The cost of the program is: $100 p/day or $400 per week. Week of July 4th, $350/week. If you have more than one child, each additional child saves $50 weekly, only if signed up for the full week. The daily price is not prorated, should you decide to drop your child later or pickup earlier that day. The program includes all classes, supplies and materials, associated with daily projects. The program is completely indoor. We have lots of windows, a/c, and everything to make the space nice and clean all the time.
CIT (Counselor in Training) wanted to spend a few hours a day on our program. You pay $100 p/week, this will help us to accommodate and train them each week. They will have an opportunity to earn community hours and/or weekly stipend, for their services. We may accept up to 6 CITs each week. They would need to bring Lunch and 2 snacks for themselves, as well.
Refund policy: waked-up-feeling sick? Please, do not endanger others. We will prorate and return you the cost of the program for the day you weren’t able to attend, if you let us know before the day begins. The service fee of 4% is not refundable.
