Paid Internship STEM Programs Recruitment Event
We are delighted to extend an invitation to join us at our upcoming live event featuring Dr. Victoria Volkis, a distinguished research professor from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore
(UMES). The event aims to provide valuable insights into the various paid internship programs within the Natural Science Department at UMES, specifically tailored for both college and high school
students.
Throughout the event, Dr. Volkis will illuminate the diverse opportunities available in STEM fields and guide attendees on the optimal approach for applying and securing a spot in these
sought-after internship programs. We encourage parents of high school students to actively participate, ask questions, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the offerings at UMES.
This engaging event will be conducted in three languages: English, Hebrew, and Russian, catering to a diverse audience. While we recommend attending in person to facilitate direct interaction with
the hiring research scientist, we understand that circumstances may vary. As a convenience, a portion of the event will be accessible via Zoom for those unable to attend physically.
Attending in person not only provides an opportunity to establish a personal connection with the hiring research scientist but may also enhance your chances of being selected for the internship
program. We encourage participants to bring their resumes and unofficial transcripts from their institutions, allowing them to showcase their academic achievements and qualifications.
Don't miss this unique chance to gain valuable insights, network with professionals, and position yourself for success in UMES's esteemed internship programs. We look forward to your presence at
this enriching event.
